Our Mission
To empower women and children to break the cycle of intergenerational trauma and abuse in order to obtain and regain their health and happiness, and establish stability by providing holistic mental and physical health education, vocational education, financial education, and spiritual education for the purpose of establishing a culture of health, peace, and prosperity throughout our community.
Shelter Services
Karen's Refuge and Restoration currently is partnering with shelters to provide vouchers for families in need, in and around the Monroe, Louisiana area.
Wellness Services
Through Karen's Refuge and Restoration participants will receive intergenerational trauma rehabilitation, wellness checks, and mental health services.
Community Outreach
Karen's Refuge and Restoration outreach programs will provide food, clothing, and sanitation supplies for low income families and homeless individuals monthly. See our service page for dates and locations.
About Us
Karen's Refuge and Restoration is a non profit organization organized for the purpose of providing resources and support to women and children that have become victims of domestic violence and intergeneration trauma in and around the Monroe, Louisiana area. The goal of the organization is to train, equip, and restore 80 families through our Refuge and Restoration programs and services every year with the tools needed to return to their communities and prevent the effects of intergenerational abuse to their families and community members.

Clothing and food distribution is provided the 2nd weekend in every month.
